Holiday Inn Express & Suites McPherson by IHG

This IHG is clean, quiet, has friendly staff, very efficient, and in a great location. Our check-in process was very fast and the counter person was very pleasant and very welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Everything worked. The refrigerator had a small freezer section to refreeze cooler packs. The hotel had a large number of athletes staying there to compete in the national track and field championship. Even with all the extra guests, the breakfast staff was able to keep up with demand and there was no wait for food or clean. It is conveniently located near the highway, gas stations, restaurants, and stores; yet it is near the beautiful farmland in Kansas. If you are traveling and want an efficient, clean, quiet hotel with breakfast and friendly staff, stay here!

This property, like many others have maintenance issues. Some worse than others. It was a proper experience that I personally expect as a diamond elite member. What stood out to me was the service that the front desk showed me. I have to name Mr. Justin in this review. Great job sir!

Not a bad experience. The worst part of the entire stay was that the parking lot (only) smelled like horse manure. Breakfast was good and ready early. Staff was helpful and polite. Room was clean and other than I single electrical outlet, nothing was visible damaged or broken. The location is decent, with plenty of food options nearby.

We stayed here both on our way to Texas and , because it was such excellent service, on our way home. Specifically the front desk ladies BOTH times and the maintenance man Justin were incredible! The breakfast both times was hot, fresh and delicious for a smaller "not restaurant" breakfast! We will most certainly stay here every year both directions when we visit Texas! Thank you to Justin for his help and lovely conversation and to the front desk ladies for such an easy positive experience!

Now this is hospitality!!! Greeted and checked in by a genuinely happy person! I over shared with her how I'm currently a Diamond Hilton Honors Member and ready to make a switch this year! IHG is looking promising. I travel with a service dog. No harassment about that. In fact, moved me to a downstairs room for even more convenience. I also forgot my toothpaste and asked if they had that for sale. She said "oh no, that's complimentary" The only thing Hilton ever gave me was a migraine! I do really love the organization and space for my things in the room! Even my dog found her a spot for the night out of the way! So nice! Clean, Cozy, Comfortable, and Cinnamon rolls in the A.M.!! I hope the rest of the year and the other locations are as inviting as this location Jan 2025

Clean room and comfortable beds. Great breakfast and coffee to get you started for the day.

We stayed 2 nights for a family reunion. The amenities are excellent; pool, fitness center, and great breakfast. The second night a refrigerated truck parked right outside our exterior wall on the eastern end of the hotel and it was loud all night and into the next day. But about 10 minutes after they parked it around 10:00PM the second night, we asked to switch rooms and get all the way to the west end of the hotel. They let us switch rooms no questions asked. We slept well. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We had a nice stay; the breakfast was good, rooms are clean and the kids enjoyed the pool! The water pressure was pretty weak, that’s really the only thing that was disappointing. Everything else was good!
